Biography
The Tan Lab studies viral immunity with focus on the viral pathogenesis in the brain.
The Tan Lab focus on two areas of research currently.
1. Human T and NK cell response to polyomavirus JC and BK. Immune assays to decipher control of these viruses and characterizing factors for therapeutic development.
2. Neuropathogenesis of HIV using the SIV model
