Pride Week is an annual celebration that occurs during March. Students of the Pride Alliance Center host programming with the support of several campus partners. In 2021, the inaugural Pride Week was held with the theme of Growing Together Through All Kinds of Weather.

In 2022, we celebrate Pride Week with the theme of, Finding Your Pride.

Events in line with this year's theme, "Finding Your Pride," will provide opportunities for students to build community, navigate personal style and expression, and learn more about programs and services from the Pride House and Multicultural and International Student Support and Engagement. Acknowledging the ongoing anti-LGBTQ legislation in this state and beyond, we intend to continue fostering safe spaces to celebrate authentic LGBTQ expression and truly strengthen our local community support systems.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all University of Iowa-sponsored programming. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in these events or you have questions, please contact Emma Welch in advance at emma-welch@uiowa.edu.
