Immunology Graduate Program
The current stipend for our graduate students is $24,250 per year (fiscal year 2009/10). Outstanding applicants may also be nominated by the program as potential candidates for the Presidential Graduate Fellowship Program or the Dean's Graduate Fellowship. Recipients of the fellowship will also receive a $2,000 salary supplement from the program. For additional information regarding the fellowships go to: Fellowships
Students are also encouraged to apply for and compete for extramural fellowships. The Graduate College and the College of Medicine provide incentives for obtaining a competitive fellowship award. The College of Medicine provides a $2,000 supplement to your stipend for the duration of the award. In addition, the Graduate College provides a 5% supplement (based on the amount of the fellowship) that can be used for travel to present your research at national meetings and/or to purchase supplies for your research.
Tuition and fees are paid by the program or the mentor.
The University offers an excellent health care plan for graduate students. The plan offers both medical and dental benefits. The program contributes 90% of the cost. At present the monthly cost to the student is $26.30. For additional information on health care, please check the following WEB site:
